This circle invites the initiated woman who wishes to sit in the Sisterhood Circle and dedicate a portion of her life to learning, healing and serving the community. The Novice Training Circle has been created to prepare for this service, and answer your heart’s yearning for more teaching and understanding of this path of study and healing. The curriculum for Novice Sisters is offered in a four quadrant series of basic teachings that prepares a woman for participation in the Sisterhood Circle and the healing practices that are used in the weekend retreats and in her life. The training culminates in an invitation to initiate into the Sisterhood Circle. She then serves a one-year apprenticeship as she sits in the larger circle during which she participates along with the entire Sisterhood.

To be eligible for Novice Training you must have:

Completed A Nine Month Journey: Regenerating Women’s Wisdom

or

Completed the Initiation and Remembering portion of the journey.

Sponsorship Circle

The Changing Woman Sisterhood holds Sponsorship as a sacred giveaway task, deserving recognition and honoring. This is an invitation to the quest of sponsorship.

An initiated woman may not be called to sit in the Sisterhood Circle or her life circumstances may not permit her to do so. She can however, remain connected with the Circle through our Sponsorship Circle.

The ritual of the Initiation is indeed the heart of the Feminine work and healing. A woman is introduced and brought into the sacred circle of initiation through the long held tradition of sponsorship. The act of guiding another woman into initiation is in itself a passage of power and compassion, which deepens her own healing through wise service and giveaway.

Here are some of the ways one may participate in this beautiful tradition:

• Remember your vow and claim yourself to be an initiated woman in your community
• Invite the precious women in your life to attend a Sacred Circle Gathering
• Participate on the registration team on Friday evening, greeting and registering women as they arrive
• Come Friday of a Retreat Weekend to welcome the journeying women in final registration and lovingly assist them in settling in their rooms.
• Hold space at the sweat lodge for your initiate sister, help with rocks and fire
• Come on Sunday afternoon of the Retreat weekends to assist in take down and packing and share a meal with us.
