Founders And The Circle Today:
Co-Founders Reverend Lorraine Weber and Ellen Miller
Ellen’s thirty years of study and practice in spiritual
counseling and the healing arts merged well with Lorraine’s
dedication to family healing and the spiritual community,
Earthwalk, which she leads as an ordained minister. Ellen
and Lorraine have effectively synthesized their knowledge
and sensitivity toward the education, healing and empowerment
of women. Their experience and skills in working with
people’s deep issues combined into the creation of an important
work for women.
Through the work of these two gifted and visionary women,
the Changing Woman Sisterhood Circle was born and nurtured
within their leadership. As the work grew, it attracted a
small group of gifted women who shared the passion to facilitate
and empower this work.
Today, the Sisterhood Circle is an accomplished leadership group of
dedicated, well trained women immersed in the shamanic teachings
of change and transformation. In addition to co-facilitating, the
Sisterhood members sit in Circle together, for ceremony,
training, teachings, administration and especially, to
experience Sisterhood in the ancient style. Through the integration
of body, mind and spirit, they seek to lead women to realize
themselves as women of power on the planet.
The Changing Woman Sisterhood offers the following weekend retreats:
- The Changing Woman Weekend Initiation -
A Rite of Passage (pre-requisite to the
other three)
- Healing the Wounded Heart (it is suggested that the
Initiation and Healing the Wounded Heart be considered
as one body of work, completed in two weekends)
- Journey Into Dreamtime
- Dancing Awake the Inner Fire
Bring yourself to the endless weaving of the feminine circle.
Find acceptance in this flowing and sustaining, ancient presence.
The Circle can hold everything…come, be in the Circle.
