Since 1991 the Sisterhood has guided women in the aboriginal myth and lineage of Changing Woman. She remains the inspirational light that has lit the path for the hundreds who have journeyed in our circles in search of inner power and the restoration of the emerging feminine spirit and so realize the true value of their womanhood.

Vision

The work began with the vision that women of all ages and backgrounds could gather for mutual healing, transformation, empowerment and learning. The vision expands with every woman who steps onto the path of discovery and brings with her, the indwelling goddess in many faces and forms and expressions. It is the desire of this sisterhood that all women on the planet could have such an experience of the beauty and power of herself and her blood line, back to first woman.

The myth of Changing Woman initially taught us and still teaches us of a woman’s cycles of life and her undeniable power to affect change. In this body of work, we have been blessed to see that Changing Woman allows for our stories, dreams and visions to unfold, freeing us to honor the Feminine in ourselves, other women and in the world. In this way we have witnessed the chain of personal lives and collective lineages that have been remembered and entire links into wholeness established and made strong.

The Co-Founders — Reverend Lorraine Weber and Ellen Miller

Lorraine now dedicates herself to the spiritual community EarthWalk, which she leads as an ordained minister and continues as a spiritual guide for the sisterhood.

Ellen integrates her thirty-five years of study in women’s work, ancient spirituality, healing arts, holistic counseling, cranio-sacral practice and as a ceremonialist, and applies them to the leadership of the Sisterhood Circle and the Nine Month Journey: Regenerating Women’s Wisdom.

The Sisters who sit and work in the Changing Woman Sisterhood™ are well trained women of heart, who hold the nexus of the vision, bring the substantial qualities of support, compassion and containership, dedication and expertise in their co-facilitation of the Nine Month Journey. They truly embody Sisterhood in the ancient style.

It has, for us, indeed been a grand journey of personal and collective evolvement over the years.

We continue to be inspired and spiritually lifted by the journeys of the many women who, by the loving urging of another and the sound of their inner calling, step onto this path of personal teaching, soul growth and spiritual expansion.
