Part Two: Healing the Wounded Heart
As the days grow shorter in the Fall, we reach
into the shadowy place of the wound that the woman’s
heart has endured. Also conducted as a retreat in
the sacred circle format, the second half of this
body of work is rich in archetypal imagery and ceremony
as it sensitively explores the many relationships to
the masculine on social and personal levels and so
heals the separation from her own Sacred Masculine.
Initiated woman has touched the ancient memory of the
time when the Feminine was honored and revered. With
a renewed sense of the value of her own Being, she can
now step again into the Circle to explore her connection
to her patriarchal lineage and heal separations. In
this quest she discovers the internal and external breaks
in relationship to the masculine and develops tools
to heal and recreate this paradigm.
She may now hear herself asking:
- How do I now tend to my inner wounds?
- What are the long held beliefs and ideas
about myself that do not work?
- How do I observe these beliefs and choose
to change them?
- How do I balance between discipline and
sensuality, strength and softness?
- How do I push myself in my body rather
than living gracefully in my body?
- How can I experience my aloneness and
my connectedness as I sit in the center of
my own circle?
