Wisdom Council Circle Opening Prayer
Sacred Ones, we bring this wisdom council together in order to create the context and the confidence for the evolution of the EarthWalk spiritual community and we affirm here the intention, purposes and covenants we have made in order to work together with joy and love. EARTHWALK is a spiritual center dedicated to the vision, transformation, integration and expansion of our human expression into the essence and truth of our unique being through love, healing, service and community.
In achieving this purpose we are committed to:
	Offer healing, teaching, spiritual guidance and ministry, inspiration, worship, counseling and community service to individuals seeking personal transformation, healing and growth.
	Create a model for conscious community.
	Offer individuals the opportunity to find their unique relationship to the divine through their own personal experience and knowing.
	Provide teaching in the fields of esoteric, shamanic, energetic and alternative healing modalities.
	As the wisdom council of this community we call this circle together based upon these covenants.
	The authority of this circle rests in the spiritual center of our community. That center is one of pure intentionality to be aligned with divine will as represented by our highest knowing and truth.
	We are committed to the purpose of the EarthWalk community and hold that vision as both a personal and collective value.
	We will remember that we are connected to each other through the power of our intentionality, our purpose and our love.
	We agree to show up, pay attention, tell the truth and let go of outcome.
	All council members agree to take responsibility for the health of the council and the community. We agree to work together in a setting where each member may alternately assume moments of leadership and acquiesce to group wisdom. Each member will call for a moment of silence or a break if they believe that it is necessary to realign with purpose or to refocus the attention of the circle.
	We agree to listen to each other with respect, patience and attention because we believe that each person may bring forth the needed wisdom and perspective.
	We agree to speak with purpose, contributing what has relevance, heart and meaning to the topic of the moment.
	We agree to monitor our participation in the circle by considering the impact of our words and behavior before, during and after it occurs. We are committed to contributing not distracting from our purpose.
	We recognize that all communities experience challenges, threats, conflicts and differences as a part of their natural evolution. When these differences occur, we commit to owning the ways we project onto ourselves and others blame, shame and guilt rather than expressing genuine feeling and truth. We agree to acknowledge these differences, pay attention to their meaning and witness the power of the circle to contain everything we bring to it and to help us find true reconciliation.
	We agree to consciously hold differences free from judgment, and to bring to the circle the power of our discernment and love, rather than our judgment and fear.
	We agree to hold an unshakable commitment to integrity, impeccability and right relationship to the community we serve. We agree to both individually and collectively discern those matters that require confidentiality and to preserve those matters within the container of the wisdom council.
	Each council member takes responsibility for asking the circle for support when needed and agreeing or not agreeing to participate in specific requests made to them. These covenants are adaptable. If something is not working, we will revise them and remain committed to the process.
	Therefore, we ask that all that occurs here be done in alignment with divine will and for the highest and greatest good. In celebration of the people and in honor of the sacred laws that all things are born from the sacred feminine space through the conceptive power of the divine masculine and that nothing shall harm the children we declare this sacred Wisdom Council Circle closed.
