An Interview with Julé from September,1998
I. Julé, Please tell us something about yourself and about your life.
J. Well, for the last 16 months I've traveled constantly. Put every thing in storage and traveled around the country offering workshops and private sessions. The healing work that I do and my background is kind of eclectic. I am a minister in the Church of Tzaddi. I understand what ministry really is. Certainly in the broadest sense, it is the work that raises consciousness. I work in varying degrees of consciousness raising and healing and I have been doing this for as long as I can remember. In 1971 I was reading cards professionally. I was only 17, and doing psychic work. That was where I received recognition even as a child.
I. One of the things that I know about you is that at one time in your life you were a model and did many other things outside of the realm of psychic work. Tell me what influenced you to go in the direction you did?
J. I think I was always going in that direction. I didn't have a lot of choice. I had perceptions about people and things. I had "awareness" without going through normal channels, so I felt compelled to seek answers to the questions by ways that other people wouldn't use - by ways of seeing things that others had no way of knowing.
I. I understand you also sang
J. Yes, I sang in nightclubs. I did summer stock in my early teens, but I had a child at a very early age. I was just 16. She lived with me in the campus dorms in Pennsylvania. I was there studying Tibetan, far Eastern history, Sanskrit, and things that had no practical business application, but made my heart sing.
I. So, what influenced you were your own special gifts, and your curiosity about those gifts?
J. Right, trying to understand how and why they worked. I could look at people and know many, many things about them. My favorite story is as a young child being at a wedding and looking at a man in his suit and asking where his plunger was. I had never met him, but he was a plumber. It sort of began there, and it is the earliest real memory I have. I also insisted that 2 people were married who were not, and then found out later that he had been having an affair for 10 years. Everyone knew accept his wife. I got slapped for insisting that this person was this man's wife, not this other person. In fact they were in deep connection. So those were the early events. I sat around in lotus posture and had interesting recollections of people and places I had never seen or met. I became more aware that other people didn't see or perceive in the ways I perceived. When you are very young you just assume people are perceiving in the way you do, feeling the way you feel, knowing the way you know. You don't realize that people don't perceive the way you do until someone points it out to you. Then the natural question is why.
I. How was that for you, standing outside the norm as we see it in our society?
J. Very lonely, very isolating, very alienating. Children believe that different is wrong even if there is indication that different is special. To the child, different is always wrong because they want to be able to fit in - to be like everybody else. I never was, so there was definitely a psychological price to be paid for that.
I. Looking back on your life and the path that you've chosen, do you find it worth that price?
J. Oh many, many, many times over. I am one of the most fortunate people on the face of the earth. I have incredible appreciation for the work that I'm doing. When I step back for a minute I think I have such an incredible fulfilling life. I get to the end of the day and I sit there after seeing my last client, and I'll feel like it just doesn't get any better than this. I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to do what I do, and grow and exist.
I. Was your book, "Whats All This About, Anyway?" created from a place of wanting to share, wanting people to know what was available and to answer some of the questions, to take some of the mystery out of psychic phenomenon?
J. The book actually started as a glossary. " Whets All This About, Anyway?" is a metaphysical companion for a much larger work that I'm writing, the title of which is "Are You An Alien Soul?" Each time I use a word like Karma or past lives I would hear spirit saying to me "you know what this means, you have definitions for those terms, but those are not what most people understand those things to mean. When they pick up your book like past lives, they have ideas and understandings of those terms that are not compatible and simply not the same as what you mean by those words. So you have to set them down somewhere." So I began a glossary defining concepts like past lives, karma, evolution. A really dear friend and teacher of mine said "how's the book going" and I said I'm having a really hard time, because I have to keep stopping and defining what I mean. He said I think that's a book in itself. This is not a glossary, it's a book. I realized that he was right and a year later "Whats All This About Anyway?" came out. To me it is an incredible gift. It is like a clone of me. It goes off and does what I'm doing when I'm not there to do it.
I. You wrote this book as a result of needing a glossary for another book you were writing. Does that mean that we can anticipate another book in the future?
J. Two books. "Are You An Alien Soul?", which talks about those people here who are in service, those souls here with that function. The other book is a series of short stories set in Atlantis called "The Day When the Rain Started Falling," and I always work on them in tandem. They represent two major, yet different aspects of the work that I do.
I. Tell us just a little bit more about the alien soul book.
J. Well, I profiled 12 people who are very different in their natures and life styles. One is a successful architect recently retired. One is a boy who is now completing his graduate work at Columbia . The book is about what it means to be in service on the earth. It is my understanding, that has been given to me, that between 12 and 20 percent of the population are here in service. They have mastered the lessons of this plane, and therefore can elect to be here. They may not have any awareness of their nature, and can even be enmeshed in various Karmic patterns. Nevertheless, that is who they are. They have a feeling of alienation. That is the common denominator, thus the title "Are You An Alien Soul?".
I. So when you say alien are you referring specifically to someone who has come from a different planet?
J. No. Simply put, these souls have a higher level of development, they have gathered the experiences and growth so that they then can choose to be here in service. My understanding is that by the year 2000 there will be a full 20% of the population of earth that will be in service, which is the maximum amount, and that 5% of that 20% will be under the age of 5. So we have a huge influx of very high level souls flooding the earth. This book is about "aliens' in the sense that the level of growth that they have attained is alien to the level of lessons that the earth offers to the 80% of the people who are here. Thus the term alien soul
I. So is this supporting the concept that this is the children's planet, and we are here to learn?
J. Well certainly its a school. And I talk about that in "Whats All This About, Anyway?". We attend the Universe. There is one course. Its a credit course and its called life. There is a large range of lessons. You could say that this is a middle school according to my understanding. So that if you're a sophomore or a freshmen in high school you can make a choice to come here and be in service. Not quite as a teacher's aide, but an instructive energy, as a soul, as a person, an expression, a body and personality. An expression of the soul that has produced other expressions that have mastered these lessons previously. It is my understanding that always there are between 12 and 20 percent alien souls on a planet. They're the catalysts, the instillers, the infusers. They enable the growth for the other 80% to take place. They stimulate and create options and opportunities for [growth] simply by being, not necessarily by standing up and instructing. They're catalysts and they're teachers because f the level of the soul that they represent. Not inherently better, or different. A 10th grader is not inherently superior to a 3rd grader, theyre just a 10th grader and a 3rd grader. A soul is a soul is a soul. But an alien soul has chosen to be here in service. They have signed up for this.
I. Is there a career or a job definition?
J. No. But there is an understanding within the persons being that they are here in service somewhere, and an awareness that they are different. The common denominator is stronger sensitivity, increased sensitivity. Now, thetas what the book is about. It profiles 12 different people. It helps people to find themselves within some combination of those profiles Then we have channelings in the book from Plato and Aristotle, J. F. Kennedy, Elvis Presely, Spencer Tracy and many other energies and entities that talk about what it means to be an alien soul and of service to the world.
I. When do you anticipate that your book will be available?
J. Well this is a very big question. I would hope to have one or both of the books completed in 1999.
I. How was it that you became connected to EarthWalk? I know that you're a very important contributor to EarthWalk, by what you bring and by how many people anxiously await your arrival to have sessions with you and to attend your workshops.
J. Lorraine Weber my friend, student and teacher is also a minister in the Church of Tzaddi. She expressed interest in learning integrated etheric healing, which among the healing methods that I do is the one I pioneered and brought forth almost 30 years ago. I spoke with Lorraine for the first time when I interviewed her for the training and I met her in the training. After we went through this intensive training she invited me to meet the EarthWalk community. She wanted me to present a healing circle and some workshops, and to be available for sessions to the EarthWalk community. I talk about EarthWalk all over the country to all sorts of people. I feel that its nucleus, its matrix holds great promise, for it is really community in embryo. It models a potential in it's energy and it is working towards that manifestation. I find it exciting what's happening here. I am very much at home and at ease and look forward to enjoying the company of the people of EarthWalk.
Not just because of the work I do here, but first it is wonderful because everyone comes prepared to work. Nobody comes into a session or a workshop as a curiosity or with a minimum of interest. Everyone is prepared and open and ready to work which is lovely. When I'm not working its a place I can play. I feel permission to do that, and I feel support and comradery from people who are empowered within themselves. They are not intimidated by me or by anyone with varying levels of information and consciousness. They are able to stand forth within themselves with a level of empowerment that I have not seen, which gives me the freedom to just enjoy. So I really look forward to the time I get to spend in this community.
I. The integrated etheric healing, tell us more about what that is and what it means.
J. It is a unique system of remote healing. There are many different ways to heal from an etheric level, such as, whenever someone uses a photograph to read or do healing work on someone. That's the form of etheric healing. Integrated Etheric Healing however, is a very specific method employing very specific techniques. It is a chakra based healing system for a specific purpose, which involves the healing work being done, and then counseling to allow the assimilation and integration of that healing. This allows the integration within the being on all levels: emotionally, mentally and physically. Therefore, the term integrated, because it doesn't stay just on the etheric level or the emotional level. The intention is to allow for full integration of those healing energies on all levels of the being mental, physical, spiritual and emotional challenges.
I. Is there anything else that you would like to add in closing, about your books or upcomming vist .
J. The books can be purchased through EarthWalk. Questions directly for me can be sent in care of EarthWalk. They can be put on my mailing list, or receive integrated etheric healings. I do them sight unseen with having only their name and their ailment. I do phone consultation work with people who have met with me in person and sessions called explorations. So if you are interested in arranging a session know that I will be back. That's for sure.
